ZenovaConnect

Transparent pricing

Pricing has three components: Cloud device subscription, new vendor / protocol integration, and Self-Hosted deployment + annual maintenance. Cloud fits pilots and SaaS integrations; Self-Hosted fits enterprise platforms, data-residency, and private-network deployments.

Three revenue models

ZenovaConnect's quoting splits by value type into three models aligned with your scale and deployment — pick one or combine.

① Device subscription

Cloud is priced per device, annually — good for stable, scaled usage. Includes mainstream vendor coverage, unified schema, Webhook / Kafka / MQTT delivery, SLA, and ticket support. Volume discounts at scale.

② New vendor / protocol integration

When you need a new vendor, special auth flow, historical backfill, or downlink control, we quote by integration complexity. One-time fee; the new vendor is then included in ongoing maintenance.

③ Self-Hosted deployment + annual maintenance

Not a one-time license. Includes deployment, annual maintenance, SLA, and upgrade service — the standard contract for enterprise platforms, data-residency requirements, and private-network deployments.

FAQ

How is device count calculated?+

1 device = one independent inverter / PCS / meter / weather station. Up to 256 data points per device; beyond that, billed as ⌈points/256⌉ devices. Devices under one tenant account aggregate across sites — no double counting per site. Edge cases can be confirmed before signing.

How does the upgrade path work for self-hosted contracts?+

We do not sell one-time perpetual licenses on their own. Standard structure is deployment + annual maintenance: minor patches are permanent and free; major versions are covered while maintenance is active; lapsing maintenance requires renewal. Specifics align with the procurement review.

Are Self-Hosted upgrades free?+

Within an active annual maintenance contract, minor upgrades are free, and major upgrades are typically covered. Rollouts support staged replacement during the customer-defined maintenance window.

What happens if I exceed the plan device cap?+

Cloud bills on actual device count; overage continues at the unit price and does not interrupt service. Self-Hosted triggers a sizing review, typically resolved within a week with a scaling plan and quote.

Is there a trial?+

Free tier is permanent, up to 10 devices — built for developer validation. Cloud Standard PoCs can be arranged on a case basis. Self-Hosted evaluation discussions happen under NDA.

Does Self-Hosted include source code?+

Default delivery is binary + configuration + docs + upgrade service. Source licensing is a separate contract, typically for customers needing further extension or compliance audit. Open to discussion with sales.

How is data safety handled?+

TLS 1.3 in transit. Cloud retains data short-term for security / backup-restore — exact retention is contractual. We commit to no secondary use, no AI training, no resale. Self-Hosted keeps all data inside your domain — it never passes through us.
